SALARY PLOICY

1. Salary Structure

Objective

To establish a clear and standardized compensation framework that ensures fair remuneration, statutory compliance, and transparency in employee earnings and deductions.

Key Components

1. Basic Salary

  • The fixed component of an employee's salary and forms the basis for calculating various allowances and statutory benefits.

  • Generally constitutes 40%–50% of the Cost to Company (CTC).

  • Used for calculating Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, and other benefits.

2. House Rent Allowance (HRA)

  • Provided to employees to help meet accommodation expenses.

  • Calculated as a percentage of Basic Salary.

  • Eligible employees may claim tax exemption as per applicable income tax laws.

3. Conveyance/Transport Allowance

  • Paid to cover daily commuting expenses between residence and workplace.

  • May be provided as a fixed monthly allowance or reimbursement as per company policy.

4. Special Allowance

  • Residual component of salary used to balance the overall salary structure.

  • Fully taxable unless specifically exempt under applicable laws.

  • May vary based on employee grade, role, and compensation package.

5. Medical Allowance

  • Provided to support employee healthcare expenses where applicable.

  • May be paid as a fixed allowance or through medical reimbursement plans.

  • Subject to taxation as per prevailing tax regulations.

6. Performance Pay/Incentives

  • Variable compensation linked to individual, team, or organizational performance.

  • Paid monthly, quarterly, or annually based on achievement of predefined targets and performance metrics.

  • Subject to applicable taxes and statutory deductions.

7. Statutory Deductions

Provident Fund (PF)

  • Employee contribution: 12% of Basic Salary (as applicable).

  • Employer contributes an equivalent amount as per statutory requirements.

Employee State Insurance (ESI)

  • Applicable to employees covered under ESI regulations.

  • Contributions deducted and deposited as per government-prescribed rates.

Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)

  • Income tax deducted from salary based on employee declarations and applicable tax laws.

  • Deposited with government authorities and reflected in Form 16.

8. Net Take-Home Salary

  • The final amount payable to the employee after deduction of PF, ESI, TDS, and other authorized deductions.

  • Credited directly to the employee's bank account on the designated payroll date.

Salary Structure Review

  • Salary structures may be reviewed annually or based on promotions, transfers, role changes, and organizational requirements.

  • Any revisions shall be communicated to employees through official salary revision letters or compensation statements.
